Huddersfield rugby league referees society recently collated feedback via social media from one weekend of games in Yorkshire rugby league games

The feedback was from a range of sources, parents, former players and people respecting the role that referees in rugby league and in every sport play in helping people play the sports they love.

State of Mind Sport are massive supporters of match officials and we will strive to ensure they begin to get the respect that they deserve every week in every rugby league game.

We are currently working alongside referee societies across the country as part of the Rugby League World Cup 2021 Assura Grant Funding to support the health and well being of match officials on a range of initiatives including developing a virtual reality experience of what it is like to be a rugby league referee. Trialed by Liam Moore in a pre-season friendly earlier this year.

State of Mind would like to encourage all rugby league supporters at all levels to start to appreciate the great skills that referees bring to the game we love and give them positive feedback as often as possible and thank them for their time
