State of Mind were invited to deliver a session for students on the BA (HONS) Sports Business Course at the university
Dr Phil Cooper, trustee and co-founder of the charity, delivered a session alongside Dr Jack Sugden.

The session focused on the remarkable journey of the State of Mind Sport charity and its innovative ways of engaging professional athletes, sports fans, and the communities surrounding sports clubs.
The session put a spotlight on the first-ever State of Mind themed round of fixtures in professional rugby league, the development of the ‘Be The Ref’ Virtual Reality rugby league referee experience and most recently the ‘Team Talks’ projects in grassroots sports. All of these projects and more have earned national recognition and multiple awards.
