The Widnes Extra Time supported by Mersey Care NHS and the Zero Suicide Alliance members sessions choices were feedback to the group earlier this week

The group had the opportunity to choose from a range of sessions or add their own to be delivered over the next 12 months

The sessions chosen in voting order were as follows:

1. Mindfulness
2. Suicide Prevention Zero Suicide Training
3. Depression Management / Safety Planning
4. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
5. Resilience Building
6. Anxiety Management
7. Presentation Skills
8. Social Media Training
9. Alcohol / Drug Use
10. Managing Money

The session have now been booked and there will be themed game between Widnes and Halifax on September 4th 2022 in the week before World Suicide Prevention Day

Around the world one person is estimated to take their own life every 40 seconds and that would add up to 120 people during a full game of rugby league

State of Mind Sport would like to thank Mersey Care NHS Trust and Widnes Vikings for their ongoing support
