State of Mind will be in Cardiff tonight at 6:30pm to deliver the award winning State of Mind session to the South Wales Scorpions following an invite from Head Coach Mike Grady
South Wales Scorpions secured their first win of the season with a thumping 46-18 win over second bottom London Skolars.
Mike Connor crossed for two of his side’s eight tries, while Paul Emanuelli kicked seven goals as the Scorpions ended their search for a victory at the 10th attempt.
Mark Wilcox crossed after five minutes, but Will Lovell responded for the hosts soon after.
Connor and Kyle Scrivens then both touched down within four minutes of one another to give South Wales a 14-point lead.
Mufaro Mvududu reduced the arrears with a try eight minutes before the break and Martyn Smith added another early in the second period, with Courtney Davies adding the extras to the latter to haul the Skolars back to within four points.
But Chris Vitalini, Emanuelli, Greg Wilde, Mike Connor and Connor Farrer all crossed within the space of 20 minutes, which left Lovell’s last-gasp effort nothing more than a consolation as the Skolars suffered an eighth defeat of the campaign.
