1972 World Cup Winning Squad Celebration Dinner Rugby League Cares are delighted to present details of a very special event – 1972 World Cup Winning Squad Celebration Dinner, 28th November, Langtree Park, St Helens.
This is a wonderful opportunity to join all surviving members of the 1972 squad to celebrate the history of Rugby League and honour their remarkable achievements as the last British side to win the World Cup – until this year!
The dinner is organised by MR Sport and supported by the Rugby League Experience with Rugby League Cares and the Australian charity the Men of League Foundation being the benefitting organisations.
The Rugby League Experience will have over 100 Australians who are visiting during the World Cup in attendance and this is a great opportunity to share stories with them and take part in what should be a truly memorable evening.
All Proceeds from the event will go towards Rugby League Cares and the Australian charity the Men of League Foundation and it would be fantastic to see our members there.
