London Broncos have secured the services of St George Illawarra half-back Josh Drinkwater, the NRL club have announced.
The 21-year-old former Manly Sea Eagles player has been released by his Australian club to enable him to make the move to the First Utility Super League.
“Josh has received a good offer and opportunity to play in the Super League and we respect and understand his desires to take up this opportunity,” said Dragons coach Steve Price.
“We thank him for his services and contributions to our club and wish him well for his future.”
London coach Tony Rea has been forced to virtually re-build his squad following the move from Twickenham Stoop to Barnet.
