Hull FC are preparing to play out the rest of 2018 without star player Jake Connor, after the utility back was stretchered off on Friday against St Helens.
Head coach Lee Radford has revealed that Connor, who made his England debut against New Zealand in Denver last month, suffered a high-grade hamstring tear in the Betfred Super League clash.
Connor is added to the growing injury list at the KCOM Stadium, with the club also assessing the fitness of prop forwards Mickey Paea and Chris Green, who also limped off against St Helens.
FC travel to Wakefield Trinity on Sunday, and will definitely be without Albert Kelly, who is ruled out with concussion after a clash in the Round 21 fixture.
The club’s injury list already contains the likes of amie Shaul, Marc Sneyd, Josh Griffin, Fetuli Talanoa, Josh Bowden and Joe Westerman, whilst Tongan international Sika Manu is suspended for the Wakefield game.
State of Mind would like to wish all injured players a speedy recovery
