Feeling lonely isn’t a mental health problem, but the two are strongly linked.
Having a mental health problem increases your chance of feeling lonely, and feeling lonely can have a negative impact on your mental health.
State of Mind would encourage our supporters that if you know someone who you may think could be a little isolated then why not send them a text message, a tweet or give them a call as the smallest gestures can mean so much to people feeling isolated.
