EORL BELIEVES BUYING A SEASON CARD IS A NO BRAINER
Huddersfield Giants Club Ambassador believes that purchasing Super League’s best value ticket is a no brainer. Eorl Crabtree believes that this year could be the best year to buy a Season Card for the Huddersfield Giants.
The former Huddersfield forward, who is now a Club Ambassador, spoke to the Huddersfield Examiner about what the club is achieving in the off season.
“I think this year, buying a Season Card is a no brainer. I think the players we’ve brought in are really exciting, the preparation has been good, and the coaching staff have cemented some foundations that we can really build on. In the past few seasons we’ve had coaching staff and it hasn’t worked but this year what we’re trying to deliver and achieve is incredibly special. I’m actually at a point where I wish I wasn’t retired!”
The forward, who made over 400 appearances for the club in his time with the Claret and Gold, also wishes he was still around to take advantage of the set-up here at the Giants.
“I would have loved to play under this coaching set up, I’m really impressed with what we’re building around the training centre, and I think we’re on the cusp of something special.”
He also sang the praises of the clubs physio, strength and conditioning departments, which will lead to the team being in the best physical condition for a number of years.
“I’ve never seen the lads work as hard, they’re working their socks off and every player is in, working on combinations and gelling as a unit. Most importantly, we’re going to be fit – we’ve got the guru of Rugby League in Dave O’Sullivan, former England physio. He is another level and I think he’s going to benefit us massively.”
Finally, Eorl had a simple message to supporters who are on the fence about renewing or purchasing their Season Cards before the discount deadline this Saturday at 12 Noon.
“I think getting a Season Card this year is probably the best year in a long time to get one. With Akuila Uate, Matt Frawley and the young players we’ve got coming through, I think it’s a great time for the Giants. We want to move forward, we want to achieve big things and we want your support, so I would urge supporters to take advantage of the incredible value. At £9.93 per matchday, there’s no better value season ticket in Super League.”
