Catalan Dragons player David Ferriol was another Super League player who retired from rugby league in 2012 at the age of 33 years
Ferriol arrived at the Catalans Dragons in the 2007 season from Limoux. He was a French international prop forward.
David was a uncomprimising prop forward who will exchange the rough and tumble of rugby league to work full time in the more sedate environment of his vineyard.
David Ferriol will be remembered for his tackle on welsh rugby legend Gareth Thomas when Garteh had his first touch of the ball in rugby league and found Ferriol tackle an expereince that took him a few minutes to recover from on his debut.
State of Mind wish David and the Catalan Dragons all the very best (bon chance) for the new season in 2013.
