Salford Red Devils have re-signed hooker and State of Mind twitter ambassador Wayne Godwin on a month’s loan from Dewsbury.
The 33-year-old former Castleford Tigers, Wigan Warriors and Bradford Bulls player, who made 52 appearances for the Red Devils from 2011 to 2014 before joining the Rams, has answered an SOS from his old club.
Regular hooker Tommy Lee was one of seven players missing through injury or suspension for Salford’s game against Leeds Rhinos last Sunday.
Salford say Godwin will go straight into training with them and will be eligible to play against Leigh Centurions in Saturday’s Ladbrokes Challenge Cup fifth-round tie at Leigh Sports Village.
