After its launch last month, ‘Huddersfield in World War I’ is now available to buy from a number of outlets across Huddersfield.
The book, which is edited by Brian Heywood, Project Manager for the Club’s Heritage project, and is supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund and Huddersfield Rugby League:
A Lasting Legacy project, contains hundreds of stories on the experiences of local people in Huddersfield during World War I.
It is a result of over 2000 hours of research by nine researchers over 30 months and is a fascinating, informative and emotional read.
