State of Mind presenter Jimmy Gittins has recently completed a trek from Lands End to John O’ Groats with the Steve Prescott Foundation
Jimmy recently appeared on Sky Sports Super League Supermen programme charting his massive achievements since breaking his neck playing rugby league and learning how to walk again with crutches, completing challenges to raise money for charity and completing the trek from Lands End to John O Groats on a handcycle!

The trek to Jon O Groats took only 11 days to complete and Jimmy was part of a team of four that walked or hand cycled between 24 miles to 32 miles every eight hours! Super human effort on behalf of Jimmy and State of Mind would like to publicly congratulate Jimmy who certainly tested his own State of Mind on a mammoth journey that he passed with flying colours
