State of Mind presenters Jimmy Gittins and Ian Smith are beginning their 40/120 Challenge tonight at 7pm
The 40/120 challenge highlights the number of people every year who take their own life around the world. 800,000 people around the world take their own life or one person every 40 seconds and 120 deaths in every 80 minutes rugby match played.
Former rugby league player Jimmy Gittins who broke his neck playing rugby league is embarking on completing 120 miles in 40 hours on his hand cycle wheelchair. Joining him for the challenge in Wakefield is former Super League referee Ian Smith who will be cycling the same 120 miles in 40 hours.
