This week’s Nursing Standard features a section on Nurse led Initiatives to support men and State of Mind is featured
The picture of the ballboys at the Grand Final at Old Trafford all wearing the State of Mind tee-shirts is prominently displayed on page 19 of the magazine that promotes excellence in nursing care. 
State of Mind teaching sessions were devised by two nurses Phil Cooper and Carol Ede and they won the Nursing Standard Mental Health Award in 2012 and involved delivering sessions across the country to encourage players and supporters to make simple lifestyle changes to improve their mental fitness.
