The RFL is delighted to announce a new partnership that will see world leading performance sports apparel brand BLK become the Official Kit Supplier to the England Rugby League team, the governing body and the sport’s match officials for the next four years.
From 2015, all RFL match officials will sport BLK matchday and training apparel, whilst the RFL’s development and performance staff will also wear specially designed BLK kit.
The design team at BLK – Beyond Limits Known – have also worked closely with the RFL to produce an exciting new range of England leisure and on-field apparel, including a brand new design which the national team will wear against New Zealand during this autumn’s Kiwi tour.
RFL Commercial Director Chris Rawlings said: “BLK are recognised as one of the world’s most innovative and forward-thinking brands and there are natural synergies with Rugby League as the sport enters an exciting new era.
“BLK pride themselves as the choice of champions and we are confident that this partnership, especially the link with England, will be a huge success.”
BLK Chief Marketing Officer Jason Sintome is confident supporters of the English team around the world will enjoy the look, feel and quality of the new designs.
“As a brand dedicated to assisting athletes and teams to achieve the goals and success they strive and train for, the team at BLK look forward to playing our part and to celebrating the achievements as England strive to realise their ambitions.
“With the sport’s new structure ushering in an exciting new era for Rugby League in the UK, we are delighted to have the opportunity to play our part in a continued success story.”
The new England Rugby League jersey will be launched later this year.
