State of Mind were honoured to be in London at The Oval Cricket Ground for the launch of the pan sport approach to mental health facilitated by the Professional Players Association
League 13 Chief Executive Officer and State of Mind Trustee Ernie Benbow alongside Brendan Batson and Simon Taylor were prime movers in organising a movement that will save more lives.
The day was supported by the Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg and Ernie can be seen handing over a State of Mind tee shirt (wonder if he will ever wear it?)
State of Mind sessions were delivered to over 50 children in the morning at The Oval and we hope that one day a round of fixtures can be delivered in all sports on the same weekend to continue to chip away at the stigma associated with mental health issues
