Rugby League Cares are currently seeking volunteers to assist us with the delivery of a number of new and exciting projects. Could you help RL Cares?

Membership

As the RL Cares membership scheme continues to grow we are seeking help to promote, recruit and administer the scheme . Our members are vital to RL Cares success. We want them to enjoy the experience and have fun whilst helping the sport they love. We are seeking enthusiastic people to help us communicate regularly with our membership and ensure that they are informed about all of the opportunities, events and activities available to them to take part in and enjoy. Events

Rugby League Cares plans to grow the number of events available to the Rugby League community to participate in and have fun. We are seeking volunteers to help us successfully promote and deliver our events programme. We’ve had a great response to our events to date, including the Melbourne Storm Master Class, Benevolent Fund Golf Day, Founders Walk and RLWC 2013 Dinner. We feel we can do so much more and are developing some exciting plans for 2014 and beyond.

We are seeking talented enthusiastic individuals to help promote and deliver an outstanding events programme in the final quarter of 2013 and throughout 2014.

Past Players Association

There are more past players than there are current players. Rugby League Cares believes that the game will be stronger if we can reconnect those lapsed League lovers back to the game. Imagine the difference this would make to the individual and the sport, if all of this energy and talent was re connected and involved. People enjoy benefitting from their association with Rugby league. Old friendships can be reignited and more people will be involved delivering a healthier game as a result. This is our vision and we are seeking volunteers to help Rugby League Cares deliver this through a game wide “Back to the Game” initiative.

To help us we need talented enthusiastic individuals willing to support the network of past players associations to:

Research where lapsed players are and how to contact them.
Promote and help recruit past players back to the game.
Support the delivery of specific activities and events with our past players network.

If you are interested in being a part of any one of the above opportunities please email info@rlcares.org.uk with a brief synopsis of your background and experience. We will then contact you to discuss the opportunities in more detail.
