Rugby League fans are being encouraged to share their favourite memories of the Challenge Cup final over the years by tweeting their photos from the sport’s showpiece finale.
The Tetley’s Challenge Cup has a unique reputation for generating magic moments with millions of supporters around the world having their own special memories of Rugby League’s traditional day in the sun at Wembley Stadium.
While the action on the pitch always takes centre stage, the activities in and around the stadium – from the fun and games on the packed coaches heading for north London to the walk up Wembley Way – can be counted on to make the final a day to remember.
To mark 50 days to the 2013 Tetley’s Challenge Cup final, the RFL is asking fans to share their favourite snapshots from over the years on the social media site Twitter using the hashtag #TetleysChCup.
RFL Chief Operating Officer Ralph Rimmer said: “The Challenge Cup final at Wembley is the most traditional – and in many regards most popular – fixture in Rugby League and this is a great chance to show the world just why.
“We want the fans to share their Wembley final photos from down the years with us as we all look forward to this year’s showpiece event.”

The sender of the most outstanding entry will receive a 2013 Tetley’s Challenge Cup official matchball.
