St. Helens Rugby League Foundation are planning to deliver mental fitness sessions in local schools in 2017
Former Saints player Eddie Cunningham was a professional rugby league footballer of the 1970s and 1980s, playing at representative level for Great Britain and Wales, and at club level for Wigan, St. Helens, Leeds, Widnes, and Batley, as a Centre, Second-row, or Loose forward.
Academy players and club cheerleaders are joining forces with Craig Richards and Ste Leonard to deliver the school sessions with support from Dr. Phil Cooper (5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Foundation Trust) in the new year
Ste, Phil and Eddie can be seen just after their first meeting and State of Mind would like to wish the venture all the very best in improving the mental fitness of students in St. Helens.
