Phil Cooper co-founder of State of Mind was in London on Thursday last week to chair a meeting of the National Nurse Consultants in Mental Health and Substance Misuse (Progress) at the home of the Royal College of Nursing
The meeting took place in Cavendish Square, London and was hosted by the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) who awarded the State of Mind team the honour of Mental Health Nurses of the Year in 2012.
Ian Hewlett National Mental Health Advisor for the RCN attended the meeting to support the great work being completed by the Natioanl Group.
Kevin Crouthers (former rugby league player and standing far right in the picture with Jimmy Gittins and two Sculthorpes last week when the tops were used for the first time) whose company AIRO Sportswear have recently kitted out the State of Mind presenters and Phil can be seen wearing the State of Mind hoodie at the meeting in London.
State of Mind has links across the country with some of the leading experts in the fields of both mental health and substance misuse.
