State of Mind were present at the first Year of Health and Wellbeing Conference at the Salford Red Devils home ground the AJ Bell Stadium last week in partnership with One Medical group
State of Mind were there to present two workshops relating to the work that we have done since our inception in 2011
Former players Jimmy Gittins, Danny Sculthorpe and Will Stringer delivered the sessions alonsgide Dr. Phil Cooper one of the co-founders of State of Mind who works as a Nurse Consultant in mental health and substance misuse for the 5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
The event was organised by Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust whose CEO Michael McCourt is a trustee for Rugby League Cares and Claire Carson in the middle of Malcolm Rae and Colin Dale
The day was a fantastic success with Jamie Peacock bring the day to a close with an inspirational presentation about his career and how he has been successful in his career
