State of Mind presenters Jimmy Gittins, Paul Sculthorpe and Phil Cooper will be taking part in the Steve Prescott Foundation’s Land’s End to John O’ Groats Challenge to walk 900 miles in 12 days!

Phil is a nurse consultant in Dual Diagnosis for 5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Foundation trust and co-founder of State of Mind and delivers education sessions to players and has no pedigree whatsoever in this type of challenge but will be harnessing his state of mind to deal with the major challenge ahead to promote mental fitness and the Steve Prescott motto that the body achieves what the mind believes as there will be no overnight stays in a hotel, it is 24 hours for 12 days non stop walking!
Steve Prescott used to say that a challenge is not a challenge unless it is challenging and as you can see from the itinerary below this is going to challenge all the team both physically and mentally
