The next phase of the State of Mind project began yesterday and continue Thursday when potential trainers Paul Sculthorpe, Jimmy Gittins (an old hand at this game), Martin Crompton, Paul Highton and Will Stringer were given the background to the project and how it began. Steve McCann was advising from an amateur club perspective.
Some of the key successes so far were presented and will the State of Mind training session was delivered and the trainers honed their presentation skills ready for the first session in an amateur club in Wigan at Bamber Bridge. The project funded by the NHS is led by Phil Cooper Nurse Consultant to deliver sessions to amateur clubs in the North West initially. The training has been hosted at the 5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Foundation Trust Education centre in Warrington
