Phil Cooper and Jimmy Gittins ventured to Barnsley on Tuesday to discuss the options of spreading the State of Mind message into local rugby union and cricket clubs
Two workers from the South West Yorkshire Foundation Trust, Jane and Mark joined Clare from PSS Health trainers at Barnsley rugby union club. They discussed information on how to replicate the model used by State of Mind to access over 1000 players to deliver messages relating to building mental resilience and mental fitness.
The meeting was extremely productive and agreement was reached to pilot a session with the rugby union and cricket teams prior to a major local event.
