Last Friday saw the State of Mind team descend on Selwyn College, Cambridge to deliver the session to the Cambridge University Rugby League team

Jimmy Gittins, Will Stringer and Phil Cooper (5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Foundation Trust) delivered the session to an enthusiastic group who are in training in preparation for the crunch battle for the Varsity match on March 8th in London.

The presentation given by State of Mind was absolutely fantastic. It dealt with what is a very serious issue in a professional manner, whilst also maintaining a very upbeat atmosphere in the room. Phil’s knowledge and experience gave a real credibility to the presentation, whilst the personal insights of Will and Jimmy were extremely moving. It gave the players a greater awareness of mental health problems, and also provided them with some steps which they could take to improve their own mental health.State of mind 322
