With Castleford Tigers experiencing increased momentum as it strives to reach 5,000 memberships, it has confirmed the full 2013 squad have signed up to the scheme.

Commercial Manager Nick Fozzard said, “Steve and I believe it is important that every member of staff here at the club becomes a member. We and all the administration staff have already joined and now Ian, the players and rest of the coaching staff have signed up too.

“The players recognise how important the scheme is to the club’s future and the support the fans have shown for it so far is another added motivator as they train hard for 2013.” New signing and Castleford-born Shenton added, “It is a brilliant scheme which is giving our fans more value for money as well as laying great foundations for the club as it looks to build for the future.

“The level of sign up we have received so far is really encouraging – it shows that people are buying in to us as a squad and that is definitely having a positive impact on us in training.”

The announcement follows the Tigers’ decision to extend the deadline for its early bird price after a recent surge in demand has seen the shop and ticket line inundated with fans rushing to sign up. Supporters now have until midnight on 31st December to become a member from just £42 for juniors and £50 for adults.
