Today the Sports Minister Nigel Huddleston MP visited Blackbrook Rugby League Club in St Helens on a special day for the sport as Government signed off the RFL’s Return to Community Rugby League Action Plan – which will see a phased and incremental return over coming weeks and months.

Super League has been thrown into chaos after six Hull FC players, five of whom played against Salford on Sunday, tested positive for Covid-19. Two members of the coaching team have also returned positive results in tests that took place the day after the game. A further player will be retested after an inconclusive result….
