This year will mark the 3rd Memorial Day for Gaz Mercer and Andy Walkden
The event will take place on August 25th 2019 from 13:00 at Bold Miners Neighbourhood Centre, Bold Miners Club, Fleet Lane, WA9 2NH St Helens, Merseyside
Nic Heghgarty said “After the first one I made a promise to Gaz’s family that it would be a yearly event that I intend to keep – to keep Gaz’s memory alive and to bring his family and friends together to celebrate and honour the memory of such a funny, loving, cheeky guy who was the joker of our team, had everyone in stitches and had the driest sense of humour and the best laugh ever, and is missed every single day
“Last year I made it a joint Memorial Day to remember and honour Andy too, who was the loudest member of our team on the pitch, supportive, also funny, loving, hard working, great dancer and did I mention he was loud!”
