Huddersfield Giants have launched their project to challenge stigma about mental health issues as part of their funding from Sport Relief

Three key audiences were targeted with each receiving activities focused on awareness raising, education and training, and opportunities for at risk groups. The groups are: professional players and staff (including young players), KS4 secondary school pupils, and at risk adults.

The activities coordinated by Chris Tomlinson have included workshops, “speed dating” social networking, aimed at creating enduring skills and capacity in the community

State of Mind supports the work the Giants have been doing and wish them all the best with the continuing programme of events.
