The Hull city rugby league derby is fast approaching a sell out with just under a week to go before kick off

More than 15,000 tickets have already been sold for Hull FC versus Hull KR at the KC Stadium, with the East and South Stands nearing capacity. The two great rivals will collide in Super League for their traditional Good Friday match and supporters on both sides of the River Hull have been snapping up their tickets this week as derby fever continues to sweep across East Yorkshire.Hull FC Logo

Ticket sales have now passed the 15,000 milestone and show no signs of slowing down, with the lower bowl of the KC Stadium filling up fast for a contest that will see the Black and Whites and the Red and Whites go head-to-head in their first competitive clash of the season.

It means fans looking to come with friends and families to one of the biggest games of 2013 are urged to buy their seats as soon as possible to ensure they can all sit together, particularly in the East and South Stands of the ground which are now nearing capacity. This includes the South Stand where every seat costs less than £20 and the family area of the West Stand, where two adults and two children can watch the game for just £50 in a section of the ground also featuring face painters, balloon modellers and visits from the players. The game itself will also include a fan zone in West Park with a variety of rides and stalls, plus a some special pre-game and half-time entertainment for supporters.
