The world’s largest ‘not for profit’ voluntary-led disability exhibition Disability Awareness Day (DAD) 2015 began with a week-long programme of activities including our mental health and wellbeing ‘Ignite Your Life’ event on 8 July.

State of Mind together with our local healthcare partners, helped deliver a full programme of workshops and activities including complementary therapies, healthy eating advice, art, crafts and sports at Walton Hall and Gardens, Warrington.

The fun-filled annual Disability Awareness Day (DAD) followed on Sunday 12 July from 10am to 5pm.

State of Mind’s Dr. Phil Cooper (5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Foundation Trust) and former Warrington Wolves, Wakefield and Leigh player Ian Knott delivered the multi award winning session
