Today marks the first International Fathers Mental Health Day 20th June 2016.

The day will be an annual event every year the day after Fathers Day (Monday).
Mark Williams Dads matter
The day is an awareness for fathers who are struggling with their mental health and educating, campaigning for better services for Fathers.

We also want other fathers to share they’re stories too

Dr. Phil Cooper spoke about the feelings of when his wife had a miscarriage and how this issue is “rarely dealt with openly and it is really difficult to deal with an issue that nobody really treats as a bereavement both for the potential mother and father but it is something that you do not forget”

This is the idea of Mark Williams www.reachingoutpmh.co.uk and State of Mind are happy to support this new concept
