State of Mind St Helens will be promoting mental well-being in the rugby community and celebrating World Mental Health Day 2011 through a series of events this September and October. Come along and join in!

There will be four days worth of events, hosted by State of Mind St Helens, to promote mental health within rugby communities. The events will be on:

Saturday 10th September at Thatto Heath Crusaders Club, Close Street, Thatto Heath,

Saturday 17th September at Blackbrook Amateur RLFC, Boardmans Lane, Blackbrook,

Saturday 24th September at C & B Club, Ireland Road, Haydock,

Saturday 1st October at Clockface Miners, Crawford Street, Clock Face.

All events will take place between 10am and 1pm.

There will be lots to do and take part in at all these events to celebrate rugby and good mental health. You could meet The Saints players, watch a breakdance performance the UC Crew, take part in touch rugby sessions with The Saints and meet Boots the mascot or even have a health check/get food, nutrition and weight management advice.

You will have the opportunity to win great prizes too, such as a Kindle (one to be won at each event), cash vouchers, match tickets and Grand Final tickets. A young person will have the chance to win the prize of being the team mascot for the first match in the Saints Stadium 2012!

Auditions for The Saints dance project will take place at the above venues and times.

There will also be children’s art activities and tai chi or zumba at the events.
