State of Mind were the keynote speakers at the recent Towards Zero Suicide Conference that took place in the Truro Hospital Conference Centre
State of Mind attended a meeting on the Monday evening with the Cornish Pirates RUFC, Cornish Rebels RLFC, Cornwall Sports Partnership, local primary care mental health services, Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and Cornwall Council Public Health.
The meeting was hosted by St. Austell Brewery who have previously supported a public health campaign to reduce and prevent suicide
Dr. Phil Cooper (5 Boroughs partnership NHS Foundation Trust and former players Jimmy Gittins and Danny Sculthorpe delievered a session describing the work done by State of Mind and then ninvited the audience to become our athletes
