State of Mind were recently asked to present the award winning to the Widnes Referees Society
The session took place at the home of Widnes Vikings, Select Security Stadium where a warm welcome awaited Will Stringer and Danny Sculthorpe who helped to deliver the session.
Danny now helps out with the RFL disciplinary committee which is interesting as one of the referees remembered how Danny was the first player he had ever sent off!
State of Mind have absolute admiration for all officials who choose to give up their time for the sport they love despite not always being openly praised by players and supporters
