Hull KR hooker Lincoln Withers is to return to Australia at the end of the Super League campaign.
The 32-year-old is coming to the end of his second season with the Robins, having joined them after the break-up of the Crusaders RL. But the two-time former Canberra Raider has yet to decide whether he will continue playing on.
He said: “Myself and my family will be heading back to Australia at the end of the season.
“I’m undecided as to whether or not I’ll be carrying on playing footy back home or maybe starting a new chapter in my life.
“I pride myself on my fitness levels and will to win and still feel as though I have plenty to offer as a player so we’ll see what happens.”
Withers’ season got off to a bad start when he suffered a nasty head wound in an early-round game at Wakefield Trinity Wildcats and he has struggled to get going ever since.
“This year has been a tough one for me with one or two injuries but hopefully I can finish strongly and help the team end 2013 on a high,” he added.
State of Mind would like to wish Lincoln all the very best in whatever he decides to do
