Fellow Australian Craig Gower was forced out of the clash in the first half and will work with physiotherapists during the week, but the club say his injury “doesn’t look too serious”.

Meanwhile, Widnes have revealed half-back Danny Craven suffered a fractured right collarbone during his side’s 28-14 win. The 21-year-old will have surgery this week and is set to be out for 12 weeks.
