Chris Eaves is an under 15’s Woolston Rovers Rugby League player and Salford Rugby League supporter who has embarked on a year long challenge to raise money for State of Mind running a 5km race every week for a year!!!

This is an amazing, heart warming example of how young people can inspire others by their actions and Chris throughout the year has been inspiring people every week, who may, or may not, have had mental fitness issues to get a little more active to improve their mental fitness.

Everyone at State of Mind Sport are unbelievably impressed by the commitment of this young man to achieve his goals every week come rain, wind, hail, sunshine every weekend in 2019.

We think this is such a fantastic story to end the decade and we will be there to greet Chris as he finishes his final run this morning at the AJ Bell stadium where he will complete his final run from the old Willows Salford Rugby League ground to the A.J Bell stadium where he will arrive at approximately 10:20-10:3 am this morning 29/12/19.

He has currently raised over £1300 pounds, an amazing amount that will help State of Mind begin a Grassroots initiative providing mental fitness awareness sessions in all rugby league and union clubs across the UK over the next 5 years and then provide the option to have a mental health first aider trained in each club.

If you can be there to greet him or see him please cheer him on and if anyone would like to donate then please click on the link below
