State of Mind chair Dr. Clair Carson and Trustee Angela Howarth are embarking on their 40/120 challenge

Both are going to walk 3km every day for 40 days to get to the 120km mark in time for Mental Health Awareness week 10th-16th May which this year has a focus on nature and activity and the 40/120 challenge meets the criteria really well

Dr. Clair said that fitting in the challenge around working full time and spending time with family is always a challenge but the 3km daily gives me a goal to focus on as spring begins.

Angela is joining Clair on the challenge and as two NHS workers in mental health and said “looking after our own mental health by keeping physically and mentally fit is more important than ever as we emerge from the latest national lockdown”.

State of Mind have created with 1985 Sports, 50 free 40/120 tee shirts so you can wear one during your challenges and we ask if you can raise between £40 – £120 for State of Mind Sport using the following just giving link
