Catalan scrum-half Scott Dureau was taken to hospital after complaining of double vision during their 32-32 draw at Widnes.
Dureau, 26, went down as he was preparing to take a goal kick during the second half of the 12-try thriller at the Select Security Stadium.
Coach Laurent Frayssinous said: “Scott was complaining of double vision.
“We took him off and we don’t know how serious it is. He has gone straight to hospital. He will have come scans and tests but at this moment I don’t know how he is – there is no news but fingers crossed.”
The Australian only returned to action against London last weekend, after nine months out following surgery on a brain tumour.
State of Mind hope that the double vision is nothing serious and wish Scott a rapid return to action
