Eagle Sports Rugby union club host touch rugby league to keep fit and this year they have given State of Mind the honour of having the State of Mind logo on the kit
Eagle RUFC was formed in 1962 by a group of friends, some of whom worked in the local factory, and who felt it was time to establish a rugby union club in a rugby league heartland. The name Eagle, and the club motif, comes from the Eagle logo of one of those businesses, Rubery Owen, which has long since disappeared from its Great Sankey location. DATE: Saturdays and Wednesdays – all year round on grass and floodlights
TIME: Saturdays 9.30am – 10.30am Wednesday 7pm – 8pm
TYPE: Turn up & Play – over 14s only & mixed ladies and gents and all abilities are welcome
COST: £2 per person – pay the coach on the field
