The Swindon St George player will lead his country against Scotland, Ireland and Wales in September in a competition which is set to be staged at Medway Park, Gillingham over the weekend of Saturday 13 and Sunday 14.

The Kent venue is no stranger to International Wheelchair action after hosting the Wheelchair Rugby League World Cup last summer and Chairman of Wheelchair RL England, Martin Coyd can’t wait.

“I’m delighted that Medway Park has rewarded and recognised with being the host.

“The World Cup was outstanding and thousands of people enjoyed a great competition. The players love being here, the facility is the best in the UK for Wheelchair Rugby League and the crowds are always fantastic.”

We grow each year and the Celtic Nations and making great strides, especially in Scotland. “I’m sure the people of the Medway Towns and Kent will get behind it again and make it special for everyone.”

State of Mind would like to wish Martin and the Knights all the very best in the upcoming tournament and thank them for giving us a taste of wheelchair rugby league, we have so much respect for your skills!!!! We would encourage anyone who is free to watch the tournament to get along and support these elite athletes
