Chris Nero has admitted he is consdiering retirement after an alarming clash of heads during Salford’s game against Bradford
Early in the second half he clashed heads with team mate Wayne Godwin and the game was held up for 8 minutes whilst Chris was placed in a neck brace.
“I had pains in my head, neck and a few tingling sesnations, but could feel and move everything” I was discharged from hospital at 1:30am as soon as they were happy with the results of the scan. I’ve had a few neck problems and my wife came to hospital with me and was really concerned and my youngest was upset.
“Perhaps it’s time to look at the future and sit down with my family over the next few weeks”
State of Mind would like to wish Chris a speedy recovery and all the best in his decision-making oevr the next few weeks.
