The Salford city Reds are hoping to settle claims against the club by former players this week before the winding up petition the court hearing scheduled for January 7th

Salford supporters have already raised £25,000 through the Forever Reds Supporters Trust and they will hold an auction at the Boniface Social Club this Friday when several donated items will be auctioned to raise money to avoid the club falling into administration next week.

“Let’s show the Rugby League and sporting community that Salford City Reds RLFC means so much more than just a name” said Louise Styles one of the organisers.

Salford City Reds players past and present will be attending and classic matches will be shown on the big screen with some very exiciting guests lined up.

State of Mind wishes the Salford Reds all the best in their efforts and would encourage all supporters who can, to attend the game against Swinton Lions on 6th January at the City of Salford stadium.
