Catalans Dragons scrum half Scott Dureau has been diagnosed with a tumour located behind the eye last week and underwent surgery on Wednesday in Australia.
He is now recovering from the operation and the tumour has been removed without any complications.
At the express wish of the player, the Catalan Dragons club requested the utmost respect for the right to privacy and confidentiality.“It’s obviously really bad news that affects the club in its entirety but we need to be united and strong and overcome that as a team.” Laurent Frayssinous said.
