State of Mind Sport were honoured to deliver a two-day Mental Health First Aid course last week
The course took place at the home of Wath Brow Hornets RLFC for 16 staff from SEllafield Ltd https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/sellafield-ltd
The course was delivered by former rugby league players and State of Mind presenters Danny Sculthorpe and Phil Veivers
All 16 students passed with with flying colours
Another excellent course delivered by Danny & Phil. Another two day course booked on 11th & 12th September for Sellafield colleagues at Wathbrow Rugby Club.
Danny&Phil are also doing Mental Health Awareness presentations and one to ones, they are being sponsored by Sellafield. This is a company that cares for its workforce and endorses all that Danny & Phil are achieving
Another two day course is planned for 11th &12th September for Sellafield employees, same venue, same presenters. (Now fully booked 16 employees)
Also Danny & Phil have been sponsored by Sellafield Legacy Ponds to do two days a week promoting Mental Health Awareness. We also have within an office block a private room that is for one to ones should anyone care to use it
Danny & Phil are now in Sellafield doing two days a week delivering inspiring talks on Mental Health. Recently they have targeted one very large group but soon will be utilising their skills to the whole of the Sellafield site.
Their collective talks from how they suffered mental health to where they are now is a true testimony to themselves and having been trained by them I now have the confident knowledge of helping other people who may be suffering.

32 people from with the Sellafield community have now benefitted from Danny & Phil’s Mental Health Course they have qualified as Mental Health First Aiders.
