Student nurse and huge rugby fan Liz Wright is walking to all 11 UK Betfred Super League stadia to raise vital funds for families living with Motor Neurone Disease.

Liz is taking up the challenge, which involves walking 123 miles across the country, in honour of Leeds Rhinos legend Rob Burrow, with the challenge expecting to run between July 7 and July 18.

Starting on the seventh of July Liz and her dad are taking on the 123 mile walk from east to west visiting all of the current Super League stadiums:

Hull KR
Hull FC
Castleford
Wakefield
Leeds
Huddersfield
Salford
Leigh
Wigan
St Helens
Warrington

This will include 4/5 days of 10-13 hours of walking each day in the hope to raise as much money as possible for this amazing course and in recognition of Rob Burrow whose story has touched so many people. We’re hoping that this brings awareness to MND and helps many families whose loved ones are living through a tough time.

Liz says: “I know the story of Rob Burrow has touched many hearts and brought rugby fans from all over the country together.

“I hope that every club and fan can come together to help me on this adventure and pay tribute to an incredible person, to raise money for families living with MND and to support research.”
