Happy Yorkshire Day and in these trying times depression and anxiety are increasing and mental fitness is more important than ever.

Yorkshire RFU 150 have teamed up with England Counties rugby to raise much needed funds for this great cause. We challenge you to organise your own events – 150-mile run/bike ride – 150 laps of your club – 150 sit ups. Get your teams together or do it as an individual with great prizes of England Counties Canterbury kit for those who raise the most, plus State of Mind Mental fitness sessions for the top clubs/schools/organisations.

Help us show what we already know that Yorkshire is the best and we can fund raise like no-one else.

The challenge will run from 1st Aug Yorkshire Day to 10th Sept World Suicide Awareness Day so join the team and let’s show them how it’s done.

To recognise the forty-one days between Yorkshire Day and World Suicide Prevention Day State of Mind are challenging rugby clubs to try out the 40/120 challenge.

The ‘40’ represents the number of suicides worldwide that happen every 40 seconds around the world and that means that during any 80-minute rugby match ‘120’ people will have taken their own life.

The Yorkshire 150 will raise funds to support the delivery of a State of Mind multi award winning mental fitness session in any club that raises money and deliver mental health first aid training to club nominated representatives.

Can your club members or supporters run or walk 40km in 120 hours (5 days) or do 40 good deeds in 120 hours? Click on the link below for the fundraising link
