State of Mind joined the St Helens Rugby League Referee Society’s Innes Arnold to demonstrate how important referees are to rugby league and a unique insight into the world of rugby league refereeing
The session was facilitated by Billy Vaughan at the club and gave a quick tour of the amazing facilities!

One participant stated that he could not believe how fast trying to referee a rugby league was and that he missed more incidents than he could see in the game action!
The overwhelming feedback was that it would make those who took part rethink criticism of referees during games
